1981 Porsche 911 SC Targa - Before

This is what we are starting with. The paint is a mess and is Root Beer Brown (as my wife likes to call it)
Actually the paint color is supposed to be Palisander Metallic.

Notice the beautiful tear in the Targa top.

Can't tell from the pic, but driver's seat is torn. Otherwise pretty complete and in decent shape.

Carpet will be replaced as it is a bit old and dirty.

The paint has some gloss to it... ok maybe not. Body is straight for the most part.

Engine doesn't look too clean, but it doesn't leak. Notice the stock 'working AC'.

Working AC in an older 911 is kind of an oxymoron, but it does kind of blow cold air.

Maybe I should just buy some Fikse Wheels and call it good.

This is what I am shooting for. Possibly not with the Fikse Wheels and rear tail, but that would be nice too.
